Before all of the other agents, there was you, and your gal. That’s what it used to be about; you and the Missus fighting the good fight. You were in your prime, twenty-something years ago, punching Nazis in the name of freedom– at the end of the last World War, you and your wife got so good at combating evil that you both started a small little agency, dedicated to special operations. You called it the Hive. It was her idea to be your Honey Bee, and you her Yellow Jacket. It grew to a size that you had never expected, and boy had those been the good years, before Honey passed away.

You miss her, more than anything, but you know that the Hive has grown so far from what she had in mind for it. She’d hardly recognize it.
